Fabric - Pure Rubber Sheet

Product Description

The main component of the fabric-reinforced rubber sheet is predominantly SBR, while NR, NBR, CR, EPDM, and silicone rubber are also used. It is reinforced with one or more layers of cotton, polyester, nylon, or fiberglass weave. This reinforcement gives the material added stability in flange gasket applications where mechanical connections are made and reduces the material's cold flow in areas subjected to high compressive loads.

Application Areas

Fabric-reinforced neoprene rubber sheet is used in areas where minimal oil resistance is required and in lines where the transfer of hot and/or cold water and gas takes place. Examples of such areas include measuring and control instruments, regulators, pumps, and diaphragms.

Fabric-reinforced SBR sheet is used in hydraulic systems and in air, water, and low pressure steam transition lines.

Fabric-reinforced NBR (Buna-N) sheet is used in areas where resistant material is required against oil, caustic substances, and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
